Who can join the team?

Below are four attributes our team would like to see in you (besides the minimum age of 15).

A growing walk with the Lord Jesus that the Body can attest to.

"[W]alk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God...." Colossians 1:10

A team player that works with and encourages others well.

"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. " Hebrews 10:24–25

The physical ability to endure the hot temperatures and longer days of ministry.

"[A]s servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: by great endurance, in afflictions, hardships, calamities..." 2 Corinthians 6:4

While fully trusting Jesus, a plan and willingness to raise the necessary funds to go.

"The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps." Proverbs 16:9

It is also important that all team members commit to attending the following Sunday-night prayer/planning meetings:

Meet Our Guides

We are blessed to partner with Mark and Dayle Annand, who spent four years as missionaries in Tokyo and are passionate about sharing the Gospel. Calvary Youth Group has worked with "McEvangelism Mark" on several occasions, especially street evangelism in Minneapolis, and we have built a wonderful relationship. Mark and Dayle have generously agreed to plan and lead our Japan trip with the help of their connections at YWAM Yokohama, where our group will be based.
