Calvary's programs and ministries are built around our CORE VALUES and OBJECTIVES, which are:
- AUTHORITY
We believe, most importantly, that Jesus Christ is Lord over all, and will build His Church, which He died for. We are His servants.
- FAITH
We believe that we should prepare our hearts through reading, studying and meditating on God's Word. We should then spend much time in prayer in a way that will lead us to commit our ways to God in a walk of faith, on a level where we, individually and as a body, will put our total trust in Him.
- GOALS & OBJECTIVES
We believe our people's faith should result in a spirit of sacrifice, such that all of our people will become involved in some form of ministry to the needs of the Body of Christ. By faith, we set functional goals and objectives and give guidance in their achievement in the light of Scriptural commands.
- LEADERSHIP
We seek a biblical approach to the training and selection of godly men and women for responsible positions of leadership to fulfill the great commission here and around the world.
- DISCIPLESHIP
We promote biblical discipleship in flexible ways, including small groups and one on one relationships, and encourage our people to exercise their spiritual gifts in a responsible and loving way to serve, exhort and show concern for one another.
- WORSHIP
We desire, in our worship, to set our focus on honoring God according to His Word.
- PREACHING & TEACHING
We stress the importance of preaching and teaching God's Word, by the Pastor and Laity, and
through Christian Education, which will result in Christlike behavior.
- BODY LIFE
We must be accountable, flexible and open to change, if the Holy Spirit so leads, in building our relationship with God. We recognize that spiritual life takes precedence over structure and that procedure follow needs.
- FAMILY LIFE
We strive to develop strong families, solid marriages, and family oriented ministries in a biblical way. We try to provide a loving, sensitive, supportive and healing environment for everyone.
- EVANGELISM
We believe in life style evangelism, and that the church is to build up the saints to minister to unbelievers wherever the Lord leads us. We make it a point to conduct ongoing personal level, small group, and community evangelism, because we believe that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes.
